HOLONIC TOWER includes a hybrid vertical transportation system to transport both people and goods efficiently.
In superhigh-rise buildings, a major issue is how to minimize the shaft space taken up by vertical transport such as elevators. This requires transportation systems which minimize space and are capable of transporting both people and goods simultaneously and efficiently. The solution to both of these problems is the proposed double-deck elevator. We have developed a hybrid system which incorporates a middle cage for goods between the upper and lower cages for people, and distributes people and goods simultaneously.
Container wagons released from the middle cage between the double decks are transported by conveyor to the floor station.
The system by which cargo delivered to floor stations is further delivered to residences and office desks. Postal items and waste gathered at floor stations are put into containers and loaded by conveyor onto the hybrid elevator.
